I love the name of this flower “Spiraea japonica or Little Princess” - they are so delicate and fragile. We’re so lucky to have them growing in our backyard!

About this photo: After the rain stopped yesterday afternoon, I took Mindy and Lexi outside to run around in the yard.

Lexi must have been very thirsty, because she kept chewing on all the wet plants. She got some tiny pink petals on her forehead. I thought it was hilarious!

More Lexi Update (if you are interested): I know I haven’t been posting on Flickr much, but she has been doing great. All signs of her bad cough are gone. She’s a brat, but she’s very smart and loving.

She just finished her 8 week training course, and I would like to maybe enroll her in the next class in the fall. Maybe then, onto agility or some sort of sports.

We recently fully enclosed the yard with a fence, and that has been so much fun for both Mindy and Lexi to run run run.
